Inspiration for all: “Don’t Quit Your Daydream”

I was so inspired by this film I watched last night that I just had to share it with you all.  “Don’t Quit Your Daydream” is about a two-member band that puts its best efforts forth to make it in the music industry.  There plan?  Drive across the country with their band and film crews while making stops along the way to record tracks with local musicians.

While watching them on their journey, I couldn’t help but to relate the film’s message to photography or any other dreams people may have.  Your dreams, no matter how big or small, are worth reaching and striving for.  If at the end you fall short of your goal, you’re still able to look back knowing you tried your best instead of not trying at all.

Here’s a couple quotes from the trailer that help relay the film’s message:

“I would not recommend a career in music to anyone.  But if you love music, you have to do it, and you will do it.
“You should do what you really love to do.  Ya know?  Cause that’s what you’re gonna be the best at.
