Blogging for one year. What’s next?

My blog has now been up and running for one year. When I first started the blog, I was a little unsure if I would have enough content to post on a regular basis. I published posts as often as I could and hoped that you all would find interest in what it was I had to share. Looking back, it was a successful first year as I had at least one post every month. I also started sharing live video feeds during my photoshoots whenever it was possible.  So what can you expect for the next year.
I was unfortunately not able to shoot as much as I would have liked to this past year.  This is something that I plan to change as I want to work more on creating commercial content.  Shooting more will result in more to talk about and share here on my blog.  When appropriate, I will share the entire process of the shoot from pre-production to delivering the images.  I also plan to provide as much behind the scenes content as I can for each photoshoot.  I absolutely love watching BTS footage from other photographers’ photoshoots and want to throw mine in the mix as well.

One thing that I plan on bringing back is showing lighting diagrams of some of the best shots that I get over time.  When starting my blog last year, sharing lighting diagrams was a major part of my plan.  Unfortunately, I did not follow through with this and want to bring it back.

Lastly, I intend to expand the use of my live webcasts.  I want to make them more interactive and not just about my photoshoots.  One idea is to webcast while working on interesting DIY projects to share the process in real time while answering any questions that you may have throughout the build.

No matter what this next year has in store, it will undoubtedly be exciting and fun to share more content with you.
